how about a drama about moderators of websites?
or a comedy about women who play video games?
yeah bad ideas, and they will never happen----
thanks risky, but the problem is not the lack of ideas, its the people who decide what shows will be shown-----something that did really well last season will have 20+ shows exactly like it made since that seems to sell, new ideas are an iffy proposition, so they are just pushed aside for what 'works'.
(though there are probably enough of us who are quite sick to death of this formula to have a say, but most of us have moved passed watching network type tv, or have stopped watching tv altogether).
I for one barely watch tv beyond a few programs, and havent watched a program on network tv ......Ok I download house and heroes, but I never watch network tv (before the dumb cable company and whomever else decided that you MUST watch hd digital tv I couldnt even see the free network stations on my tv thru the interference----part of the original reason why we got cable here in the first place!)
I have better things to do than that. (and my hubby has plenty of japanese animation for us to watch for the next 6 years!). Besides I am not into comedies for the most part (hated siegnfeld---ewwww just yuk...only watched part of the first season........friends? never saw it, the zipcode show 90???? never watched it, and outside of the 2 shows I mentioned I have no idea what is currently even ON network tv).
Then again I am not part of the 'target' audience any longer so my vote and voice are silent.....
